There are more than one ways to experience pole play - pole doesn't have to just be dance - it can be fun to let go of the 'serious' training and just play - back to being a kid & experiencing the joy that can come from being silly :)
Embrace Cosplay and Character Play
Ever thought about combining your love for pole dancing with your favourite characters?
Cosplay and character play can add a fun twist to your practice sessions. Dress up as your favourite superhero, anime character, or even a fantasy creature.
Not only does this make your practice more entertaining, but it also encourages you to explore different movements and styles.

Involve Kids, Animals, and Friends
Pole dancing doesn’t have to be a solo activity.
Get your kids involved and let them dance around the pole with you. It’s a great way to bond and share your love for movement.
You can make it a fun family activity by creating simple routines that everyone can join in. Kids can enjoy spinning around the pole, mimicking your moves, or even inventing their own.
It’s a fantastic way to encourage physical activity and creativity in a playful environment.
If you have pets, they can be part of the fun too!
Cats love to watch and sometimes even interact with the pole, while dogs might enjoy running around or watching you from a cosy spot nearby. In fact its pretty unusual to find a dog that loves to pole... most tend to observe, just raising an eyebrow every now & then :P
Birds, with their natural curiosity, might find your movements fascinating, we are yet to see birds partaking in a pole routine, but we've seen cats reptiles & even Koalas!
Having your furry (or feathered) friends around can add an extra layer of joy and laughter to your sessions.

Invite your friends over for a pole playdate.
Share tips, try out new moves together, and support each other.
It’s a wonderful way to build a sense of community and make your practice more social.
You can even make it a themed event—whether it’s a costume party, a glow-in-the-dark session, or just a casual get-together, adding a theme can make your pole playdates even more memorable.
Again we cant go past @rhyleep (ig) for fun pole play!!
Play with Music, Lighting, and Comfort
Setting the right atmosphere can transform your pole practice.
Experiment with different music genres to match your mood or the theme of your play —whether it’s upbeat pop, soothing jazz, or energetic rock.
Adjust the lighting to create a cosy or vibrant environment. Use props, costume, face paint and whatever you like to really immerse yourself - make it as crazy or as detailed as you like.
Don’t forget to make your space comfortable with cushions, rugs, and any other elements that make you feel relaxed and inspired!
Get Involved with Social Media Trends
Social media platforms like TikTok and Instagram are full of fun trends and challenges that you can incorporate into your pole practice.
Try out popular dance challenges, create your own pole routines to trending songs, or participate in hashtag movements. It’s a great way to stay connected with the pole community and showcase your unique style.
Not into TikTok choreography or challenges? Try picking a newsworthy topic or a topic that's contentious and build a role play or a session that's in part social commentary as much as it is for fun.

Celebrate Your Inner Child
Remember the joy of playing dress-up and make-believe as a child?
Bring that same spirit into your pole practice. Whether it’s dressing up, pretending to be different characters, or just being silly, let your inner child guide you. This can make your sessions more enjoyable and free-spirited.
